Rainy day pizza! Lunch today was Dino's Pizza in Burbank. It's a really tasty old school pizza, a good ol normal pizza. The dough is thick, has good chew, and good flavor, no throw away crust on this pizza. They have a nice tomato sauce too which I love, good flavors in that sauce. I go for the Dave's Fave which is a sort of supreme pizza, the toppings always taste fresh and I love their sausage. A medium size pie is perfect for two people. I haven't had these, but I "think" I saw them serve some pizza nachos to someone, chips made from thin pizza dough. They also have some good hefty salads for those wanting greens; and a small but solid selection of beer on tap and an extensive selections of all sorts of root beers and soda in bottles.
If I have a gripe is that many of the employees have a "I don't give a fuck" attitude". No smiling, hellos, or friendly eye contact. They aren't outwardly unfriendly or mean, they are just neutral (of course they seem grumpy because everywhere else is overly-friendly). I don't go there to make friends anyhow, and the pizza is always fresh and hot, while the beer always cold. .
This is a solid old style pizza place, the kind of place that makes me feel like when I'd go out for pizza as a kid. Dino's is my favorite pizza in the Burbank area.
